It's impossible to escape it: artificial intelligence is on everyone's lips. Every week, a company announces its "AI revolution." At agenda.ch, we've chosen a slightly different path. We use AI, yes—but we refuse to turn it into an empty marketing ploy. Here's what we actually do, and more importantly, what we don't.
Where AI really helps us
AI provides us with a service on a daily basis, but in a very targeted way:
- Our translations : agenda.ch operates in three (soon to be four!) languages. AI provides us with a first draft of editorial content, which we systematically review and correct. This saves a huge amount of time for a small team.
- Our articles and content : for informational texts intended for our users—whether they are physiotherapists, therapists, driving instructors, hairdressers, or beauticians—AI helps us structure our ideas. But each sentence is reviewed, adapted, and sometimes completely rewritten by a human.
- Our development process : our developers use AI assistants for coding, documentation, and bug diagnosis. It's like having a very fast colleague who needs to be monitored.
What we refuse to do
We don't put AI between you and your clients. No chatbots replacing real interaction. No algorithms recommending one professional over another. No automated processing of sensitive data. When you call us, a human answers—and that will never change.
Whether you're in health, beauty, or wellness, your customers trust you. And trust is built on transparency, not vague technological promises.
And what's next?
We are exploring several avenues: smarter time slot suggestions, assistance in detecting scheduling conflicts, automatic categorization of appointment reasons. Always with the same principle: the machine proposes, the human decides .
We prefer to release features that actually work rather than slapping the "AI" label on everything we do. It might not sound as exciting in a press release, but our customers know what to expect.
