In 2011, we launched agenda.ch from Geneva with a very simple idea: to allow people to book appointments online without having to call. It was innovative at the time. Fifteen years later, we're still here, and we're quite proud of what we've built.
Difficult beginnings
At first, many professionals responded skeptically: "My clients prefer to call." We heard it hundreds of times. But we knew that a good management solution is much more than just appointment scheduling. It's about SMS reminders that prevent missed appointments, well-maintained client records, simplified invoicing, and genuine online visibility. We had to prove it practice by practice, salon by salon.
Some figures that make us happy
Today, agenda.ch is:
- More than 4,900 professionals trust us on a daily basis (doctors, physiotherapists, hairdressers, beauticians, coaches, therapists, driving schools, administrations...)
- More than 3.5 million appointments booked online
- Over 5.5 million reminder text messages sent
- 70% fewer missed appointments for our users
And most importantly: thousands of professionals managing their schedules, clients, invoicing, and communication with a single tool. We've gone from "an app for booking appointments" to a true business management platform.
A team of manageable size
What makes this adventure special is the team. Some have been here almost from the beginning. Others joined us along the way. But everyone shares the same desire: to build something useful, reliable, and profoundly human.
We're a small Geneva-based company, and we're proud of it. When you call us, a member of our team answers. When you have a problem, we solve it together. No automated ticket number, no bot. Just real communication.
And now ?
Fifteen years is great, but it's just the beginning. We still have plenty of projects in the pipeline: digital forms, new business integrations, tools to better manage your business. We're moving forward at our own pace, without raising funds, without external pressure. Just the desire to do things right.
